Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Gøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsen og Ib Abelsøn er kommet til Søholm Slot for at hente adelskvinden Elsebeth Buchwalds skjulte skatte. Men den onde Kulsoen er også kommet til for selv at få del i skattene. Mens Svend Poulsen tager sig af de svenske soldater på slottet, finder Ib Abelsøn skattene under et gulv. Han lader som om boksen med dem er tung for at få den grådige Kulsoen til at hjælpe sig. Men da de får den op, giver Ib Abelsøn slip, så Kulsoen falder med kassen ned i hullet, så han kan fange hende.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. Svend Poulsen, Gøngehøvdingen, and Ib Abelsøn has come to the Søholm Castle to hole the hidden treasures of the noblewoman Elsebeth Buchwald. But the evil Kulsoen has also come to get a part of the treasure for herself. While Svend Poulsen takes care of the Swedish troops at the castle Ib Abelsøns finds the treasures under a floor. He pretends that the bow with them is heavy in order to get the greedy Kulsoen helping him. But when they get the box up Ib Abelsøn lets go so that Kulsoen fells into the hole with the box making it possible for him to capture hende. |
