Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Tam og hans onde kone Kulsoen har fået et brev til Svend Gønge. Kulsoen vil selv læse det, men Tam stikker af med det. Tam driller hende med hendes egne ord om, at folk tænker på det rigtige men gør det nyttige. Nu gør han det rigtige, mens hun kan tænke på det nyttige.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. Tam and his evil wife Kulsoen has gotten a letter for Svend Gønge. Kulsoen wants to read it herself but Tam gets away with it. He teases her with her own words about how people thinks on the right but does the useful. Now he does the right while she can think on the useful.
