English: Driftwood and the Old Bedford River The area up to the retaining bank is allowed to flood during the winter. Here, a tree trunk remains from a previous season. In the distance is Common Wash Hide, one of a number of bird hides provided by the RSPB as part of the Ouse Washes Nature Reserve. |
