Description
Русский: Решмы, или конские налобники

К числу множества старинных богатых узд и муштуков, которые хранятся в Оружейной палате, принадлежат и узденицы, или конские начельные бляхи с цепочками, называвшиеся также «решмами». Относясь преимущественно к великолепию убранства верхового коня, золотые и серебряные узденицы

украшались финифтью и драгоценными камнями. Из пятидесяти трех сохранившихся уздениц изображенные на рисунке № 143 — из простых. Верхняя — серебряная золоченая с изображением посередине двуглавого орла, по сторонам льва и единорога, в описи Оружейной палаты — под № 42.
