Description

Звездица, тарелочки золотые и костяная ложечка митрополита Петра

В ризнице московского Успенского собора звездица, покрывающая дискос, богата по металлу и по украшениям финифтью и драгоценными камнями. Состоя из четырех луков, между коими четыре луча, она образует восьмиконечную звезду, подобие небесного светила, путеводившего волхвов в Вифлеем. На ней читаем следующую надпись: лtта /--зч`г (1585) мtсmца їюлїm въ и` день сдtлана бысть сїа звtзда въ соборнuю иb апостольскuю церковь Пречистыm Богородицы честнагw иb славнагw Еm Успенїm, при благовtрномъ Царt иb Великомъ Кнmзt Fеодорt Icоанновичt, повелtнїемъ Господина Преосвmщеннаго Дїонисїm, Митрополїта всеm Росїи.

К ней принадлежат два золотых блюдца. На одном наведен финифтью восьмиконечный крест на Голгофе, с терновым венцом на средокрестии и с надписью по краям: Крестu твоемu покланmемсm Влыдыко и проч., а на другом — Воплощение в виде Знамения Богоматери

и с надписью вокруг: Все оуrпованїе мое къ Тебt возлагаю, Мати Божїm, сохрани мm во Своемъ си кровt.

Края обоих блюдец усажены изумруами и яхонтами в гнездах.

Наконец, на этом же рисунке представлена ложка из рыбьей кости, принадлежавшая, по преданию, Первосвятителю московскому Петру, но в соборной описи 1628 г. она названа «лжицею св. Ионы Митрополита». В соборной же описи 1627 г. упомянуты «ложка костяная, на кольце, обложена серебром лжичка и ворворка низана жемчугом». По-видимому, лжица сия принадлежит к келейной, а не к церковной утвари.
