White Bonnaffon. GjlRYSAllTHE;flU;«S. New Varieties for 1901. (Ready for distribution early in April.) Timothy Eaton (Miller). The sensational novelty of the year and the greatest introduction for many years. This variety has been extensively exhibited the past fall and cap- tured every prize for which it -wa.s entered. It is the largest, white, globular, Japanese incurved variety yet raised. The form is perfect, the stem stiff, with healthy foliage, and brings a full crop of perfect flowers. Brutus ( May). Very bright red, shaded with orange ; a bold, handsome flower of a glowing sunset color, averaging about 6 inches through by 5 inches in depth. Certificated C. S. A. Chestnut Hill (May). Clear, bright yellow, of excellent form and substance ; at its best end of November. A seed- ling of W. H. Lincoln, with equal constitution and better fonn. Certificated at Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati and Phila- delphia. lolantha (Smith cS: Son). An incurving pink, maturing Octo- ber loth to 15th ; probably the best early pink yet introduced. Certificated (J. S. A. Malcolm Lamond. A counterpart of Fisher's Torch in color, but much fuller, having three times as many petals ; a beautiful velvety crimson that does not burn. Certificated C. S. A. riary Hill (Rieman). A bright shade of pink, with a high ))carl gloss on the outer petals ; at its best about November 15th, Certificated C. S. A. rirs. Elmer D. Smith (Smith & Son). A bright yellow Jai)anese iiu urvctl, deeper in color than Golden Wedding ; of perfect form, fiill double, high, rounded centre. The intro- ducers claim that this variety has more good ))oints than any variety sent out by them the past ten years. Certificated C. S. A. New.Chrysanthemums for 1901—Continued. rirs. W. D. Chamberlain (May). A bold, handsome flower, of a lovely shade of pink, long ray petals drooping ; balance reflexed or incurving, in a graceful and artistic form. Certificated C. S. A. Omega (Smith & Son). A second early yellow, with blooms inches in diameter; in perfection about October 25th. Certificated C. S. A. Yanariva. Deep blush centre, with delicate blush for balance ; a striking and artistic flower, 7 inches through by 5^ deep; entirely distinct from all other varieties. Zama (May). Old gold; reverse, bright strawberry red; lower petals tubular ; balance flat; reflexed, but full to centre ; an acquisition for exhibition purposes. 50 cent? each ; $5.00 per dozen ; the set of 11 varieties for S4-50.
