DREER'S WHOLESALE PRICE LIST. 25 New I/arge Flowering Dwarf French Cannas. Grand New Orchid=Flowered CANNAS /kistria °*> Italia Being an entirely new race of Cannas and altogether distinct from anything introduced heretofore, they have been 3* very appropriately called " Orchid- gjjf flowered Cannas." ;£> Both varieties have flowers of im- jtnir mense size, frequently measuring six £p inches across ; the colors are distinct and pleasing and the flowers are pro- duced in the greatest profusion. They have been described by the introducers as growing 9 feet high, but in our own grounds under liberal cultivation, they attained a hight of about 6 feet. Italia is of a bright orange scar- let with a very broad golden yellow border; the flowers, which are pro- duced on massive stems about 16 inches long, are set well above the foliage; the foliage is large and heavy similar to that of the Musa Ensete. 50 cents each ; $6.00 per dozen. Austria is a counterpart of Italia in every way, except in the color of its flowers, which are of a pure canary color, with but a few traces of small red- dish brown spots in the centre of the two inside petals. 35 cents each ; $3.50 per dozen. New Crimson Bedding Canna beaute poitevine. Out of over 150 varieties of Cannas grown by us the past season this variety stands pre-eminent in its class. It is of a bright rich crimson color, with erect flower spikes, growing about the same height as Chas. Henderson, and is an ideal Canna for bedding. It is constitutionally hardy, having stood the severe drouth better than any other variety, flowers standing the heat and intense rays of the sun without the slightest injury. It comes into bloom very early in the season, blooms continuously, and we have no hesitation in recommending it as an exceptionally good variety and as a brilliant bedder. Price, 30 cts. each ; $3.00 per doz.; $20.00 per 100. New Cannas of Special flerit and Introductions for 1807. We are Sole Agents for the United States for Mr. Crozy, the prominent French specialist in Cmnas. A special list of his introductions of this season will be mailed to all applicants. The following list is a selection of the very finest varieties, introductions of the most prominent growers. All will be found decided acquisitions to our already long list of Cannas, and after careful trials made on our own grounds during the past Summer, we have no hesitancy in recommending every one of them.
