Soft, clear yellow, incurved, full in the in diameter and nearly as deep ; form While our list of Chrysanthemums is comparatively limited, it is composed exclusively of varieties standing at the head of their type and color. TWENTY-FIVE OF THE FINEST EXHIBITION VARIETIES. Charles Davis. A golden sport from Viviand Morel ; light yellow suffused with rich apricot ; grand flowers of great size. Colonel William B. Smith. An immense, double high- built flower, petals very broad and large, forming a solid mass of the richest bright golden bronze. Eugene Dailledouze. There is nothing brighter and clearer in yellows than this grand variety. The flowers are large, full and double, and a free, easy grower. Fisher's Torch. Bright fiery red ; the richest shade in com- merce ; large and double, with high-built centre. (See cut.) Frank Hardy. A superb pure white variety with immense full deep globular flowers, beautiful I v incurred in graceful folds. George W. Childs. The best deep self-col- ored crimson variety in existence ; flowers mas- sive and of immense size, with broad stiff petals, rich dark vel- vety crimson, without a shade of brown or chestnut. Golden Wedding. Of a rich golden-yellow color, intense and daz- zling. Flowers 10 to 12 in. in diameter, 4 to 6 in. in depth ; petals broad and long, double to the centre without an eye. Helen Bloodgood. A most beautiful clear pink, of very large spherical shape. H. L. Sunderbruch. bright golden-yellow, of fine incurved form and large size. lora. Tubular, clear pink, a fine artistic flower, very large. John Shrimpton. Bright velvety crimson- scarlet, of good size. Maud Dean. Extra large petals, broad and incurving, perfectly double and of great substance ; pink, al- most rose.

Fisher's, Torch. Major Bonnaffon. centre ; 6 to 7 inches and finish perfect. Mayflower. Magnificent large incurved white, lower petals reflex ; grand in every way. Miss Minnie Wanam'aker. Creamy-white, of very large size, and so much incurved as to resemble a white ball. flinerva. Large and massive, incurved, vivid golden-yellow. Modesto. Intense yellow, of an incurved slightly whorled form, with very high full centre. firs. A. J. Drexel. Large flowering, early variety; color crimson-lake ; form rounded into a half-globe. Mrs. Jerome Jones. A beautiful, waxy- white, with broad in- curving petals ; one of the finest. Hutual Friend. A reflexed pure white, from 7 to 11 inches in diameter and great depth of flower. Pennsylvania. A fine companion to Philadel- phia from which it is a sport, possessing all the good points of that fav- orite, color rich bright yellow. Philadelphia. A mag- nificent variety of grace- ful globular form, color white, illuminated with lemon-yellow, giving it a peculiarly pleasing appearance not seen in in any other variety. As a fine finished flower it stands at the head of the list. Pluto. A fine, bold, globular, well-built flower, of a clear bright red, the centre being incurved with the re- verse of petals bright golden yellow. The Queen. One of the grandest white ex- hibition varieties. Viviand Horel. Extra large flowers; petals long and loosely ar- ranged ; a beautiful light shade of pink. Price 15 cts. each ; §1.50 per dozen ; the set of 25 varieties for S2.50. EARLY FLOWERING CHRY5ANTHEMU/VIS. The varieties offered in this collection are all such that will perfect their flowers in the open ground, even in the Northern States. The selection has been made with a view of offering only the very cream of the early flowering sorts, and all of them will give satisfactory results, even with the most ordinary cultivation. A beautiful pearly pink, large and full to the centre. Mrs. Henry Robinson. One of the very finest white varie- ties, a perfect ball of snow when fully developed. Mrs. J. G. Whilden. One of the finest very early yellows. Snow Queen. A nicely finished snow-white sort of rounded form and full centre. Vice-Pres. Hardy. Golden yellow, bordered crimson rose. Vicomtesse D'Avene. Violet rose, shaded white, centre old gold, free. White Grunerwald. Silvery white reflex, pale rose. William Holmes. A fine crimson. Yellow Queen. Early clear yellow.
