Dreer's Large-Flowering CANNAS Dreer's Carinas in the New York Botanical Garden, Bronx Park, New York Cannas bloom from early summer until frost in all sections of the country. They succeed best in a sunny position and in practically any kind of soil, responding freely to liberal treatment. For best re- sults, prepare the bed about two feet deep and include a generous supply of well- decayed manure. They enjoy plenty of moisture during their growing season. All varieties have green foliage unless otherwise specified in the descriptions. 23-011 Cheerfulness. Orange-scarlet broadly edged with yellow. 3£ ft. 23-012 City of Portland. Brilliant fiery, intense scarlet. \ ery vigorous. 5 ft. 23-081 Timbuctoo. Of dwarf growth. Free-rlowering and a fine yellow that does not fade in the sua. 4 ft. 23-082 Triomphe. Very effective brilliant bright crimson. 4 ft. 23-091 Yellow King Humbert (Orchid-Flowered). Bright yellow spotted red. 4J feet.
