PFK IKT. 1350 Entirely distinct and novel. Plants of pyramidal growth,about 18 inches high, bearing on long stems from 40 to50 flowers, averaging 4 inches across, composed of wavyand twisted needle-shaped petals, making the flowerfree and graceful; mixed colors 10 OREERS SITPERBLATE BRANCHING ASTERS. This superb strain is of American origin, and is especiallyadapted to our climaic conditions. The plants form strong, branching bushes, 2 to to 2) feet high,bearing on long, strong stems their handsome Chrysanthemum-like flowers, which, under ordinary cultivation, averages 5 inchesacross. They come into bloom from two to three weeks after theaverage type, usually being at their best during September, andthings considered, are the most valuable of all Asters, eitherfor cutting or for bedding, and if only one kind of Aster isgrown this is the type which will likely give the best results.
