Description
English: Horizontal composition of two lightly sketched hands framed by an octagonal piece of paper. The corners of the original rectangle have been cut away. In front, written by A. Maggiori (therefore trustworthy): "Don. Creti fece." On the back, "Ales. Maggiori compro in Bologna nel 1787." Maggiori erased what appears to be a signature from a former owner: "P.H. Secani (?), 1785."
