English: Drawing, Project for a Sedan Chair, 1775–80
Description
English: Shown in profile turned toward right with one bar. A pineapple stands on top of the vaulted roof which is decorated with festoons and other floral ornaments. It is bordered by rows of leaves. Masks are at the corners from which the tassels hang. The panels are framed by intertwined branches. That beside the window shows an ovoid with a coat of arms hanging between festoons from a bow knot; azure bandlet sinister scarlet between three bezants 1, 2 a gyron white, ermine. Garlands dragging over disks decorated the other panels. The bar shows and oblong somewhat broader than the chair; it is framed by garlands and contains a "running dog" of leaves.
