English: Bottom: Frieze with four seasons. Sitting woman returning plates, upon which offerings brought to her, inscribed: PRIMAVERA. Grain harvest, inscribed: ESTATE. Drinking, harvesting wine, inscribed: AUTUNNO. Classical sacrifice of swine, inscribed: INVERNO. Top at right, two sketches of frieze with festoons supported by genii and sketch for figure of Spring. Top left, two caryatids: above upper parts of fluted columns rise half-figures of women carrying Ionic capitals upon their heads; Arms hang down and hold wreaths.
