| Description |
English: The Drakensburg Mountains run down the eastern seaboard of South Africa. Rain falling on the eastern side of the mountains hurtle downhill rapidly 60 miles to the Indian Ocean whereas that that falls on the western side travels very sedately across the country some 1500 miles to the Atlantic. I forget where this is and what they are called but the Seven Sisters, it's always the Seven Sisters isn't it?, springs to mind. I think they look spectacular. Possibly in the Pilgrims Rest area. 27/03/12 Edited in Picnik after 242 views. Just a little tweak. |
