English: This is an Ukiyo-e during the time of Empress Genshō. Tatsumi, Tozumimeyama Chosen-in at the 29th pass. Kunisada, Hiroshige "Kannon Reikenki" Chichibu Pilgrimage.
Note: this is not really Empress Genshō in the portrait. Please read the Japanese handwritten description on the right side of the photo. "The time of Emperor Genshō "means "when Emperor Genshō reigned." In other words, it means, for example, "1800" in the sense that there was a dragon woman when Emperor Genshō reigned, the dragon woman is shown in this photo. 日本語: これはドラゴンの女性の浮世絵です。元正天皇の治世中。第二十九番笹の戸見目山長泉院 竜女。 国貞、広重「観音霊験記」秩父巡礼 |
