Summary

[edit]
Description
English:
Dr. J. Garfield Anderson operating, Wonju, [s.d.]
This is a small hospital in a needy district in the mountains. This hospital was built by the Swedish Methodists of America. Dr. Anderson is here shown operating on a wooden table in the dispensary room because the operating room had not yet been finished. Funds for adequate hospital equipment are urgently needed for all medical stations. During a recent absence of Dr. Anderson, the hospital had to be closed as there was no one to take Dr. Anderson's place. Many people making long trips to be healed were turned away, a tragedy of inadequate staffing.
