Two classic post-war propliners in preservation. Below is C-47A Dakota 'G-AMZZ' c/n 12254, really N688EA and previously RAF 'FZ669' and RCAF '12943'. Nearest is Heron 2 'VH-NJP' (c/n 14072) in Gulf Aviation colours as 'G-ANFE'. Above is Dove 6 'G-AJPR' (c/n 04469), which is really G-ARDE. Both are on display at the Al Mahatta Aviation Museum, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. 14-9-2015 |
