Notes The present portrait is a partial repetition of the former full-figure portrait of the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, Wilhelmshöhe Palace / Kassel. This was created in 1723, the year Clemens August was elected Elector of Cologne. In the inventory of the (state) painting collection in 1822 and 1855, the painting is listed as the work of Jan Frans van Douvens from 1723.
