Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas A4D-2 Skyhawk (BuNo 142743) of Attack Squadron 134 (VA-134) "Scorpions" is prepared for launch from the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64) in February 1962. This was the first aircraft launched from Constellation after her commissioning in October 1961. The pilot was Commander J. Watkins, Commander, Carrier Air Group 13 (CVG-13). In the left background are A4D-2s of VA-133 "Blue Knights".
