Description

A U.S. Navy Douglas A-3B Skywarrior (BuNo 138947) of Heavy Attack Squadron 4 (VAH-4) Det.L "Fourrunners", in 1963. VAH-4 Det.L was assigned to Carrier Air Group 21 (CVG-21) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19) for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 7 June to 16 December 1963.

The A-3B 138947 crashed due a to structural failure on the catapult aboard USS Oriskany (CVA-34) on 25 May 1965 while in service with VAH-2.
