Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas A-1J Skyraider (BuNo 142030) of Attack Squadron 152 (VA-152) "Friendlies" aboard the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany, circa in 1967. VA-152 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 16 (CVW-16) aboard Oriskany for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 16 June 1967 to 31 January 1968.
  • 142030 was transferred to the U.S. Air Force in 1968. It crashed on take-off from Nakon Phanom Royla Thai Air Base on 2 October 1969 while in service with the 602nd Special Operations Squadron. The pilot was killed.
