Description
English: A U.S. Air Force Douglas A-1E Skyraider (s/n 52-132444) of the 602nd Special Operations Squadron, 56th Special Operations Wing, tests the BAK-12 arresting gear at Nakhom Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base, in October 1970. This aircraft was passed on the the Republic of Vietnam Air Force (VNAF) in January 1971. It served with the 518th Fighter Squadron and was lost on 31 March 1971.
