Description
English: Hurricane Dora of the 2023 Pacific hurricane season intensifying while over the open Pacific during the evening on August 2, 2023 (Locally). When this image was captured, Dora had 1-min sustained winds of 125 mph (200 km/h) and an estimated minimum central pressure of 956 mbar (28.2 inHg). Dora would ultimately achieve its initial peak intensity as a low-end Category 4 hurricane around 9 hours after the capturing of this image around 09:00 UTC.
