Deutsch: Vom Römersteinturm ist ein Rundblick über die Mittlere Schwäbische Alb möglich. Der sichtbare Ort Donnstetten liegt in der Senke (auf dem Albplateau oft ursprünglich ein Maartrichter) eines schon im Obermiozän erloschen Vulkans vom Typ Schwäbischer Vulkan. Auf dem verkarsteten Albplateau führten Quellen und Hülen der wasserstauenden, residualen Vulkanite bevorzugt zur Besiedlung. |
