Description
Español: Scientific name Dondice banyulensis, a nudibranch. The common name in Spanish is "godiva aurancia"

Estos bellísimos moluscos habitan sobre fondos rocosos o detríticos, entre diez y treinta metros de pronfundidad.

Sus numerosos ceratos tienen forma cilíndrica y afilada, y están reunidos en cinco o seis grupos colocados en herradura. Los tentáculos orales, son lisos y muy largos. El color generalmente es naranja claro, con una línea blanca que recorre el centro del dorso hasta el borde anterior de los tentáculos orales. Al trasluz se pueden ver las mandíbulas de color rojo oscuro y las ramificaciones del hepatopáncreas, que es de color naranja oscuro.

Se alimenta de hidrozoos y ectoproctos, fundamentalmente
