Bronzebrunnen von Anton Dominik Fernkorn, errichtet 1861. Aus dem reich ausschwingenden Becken tauchen 3 Nixen, darüber befinden sich 3 Wasservögel als Wasserspeier und wieder darüber stehen 3 männliche Figuren mit Fischenetz, Werkzeug und Buch. Die Bekrönung bildet eine Donaunixe mit Fisch (Text entnommen aus "Historisches Lexikon von Wien" von Felix Czeike). |
