English: Probably a copper alloy mount possibly Medieval or Post-medieval 1200 to 1800AD. It comprises a flattened solid copper alloy dome with small central hole, diameter 4.5mm, on the flat underside. There is also the remnant of a possible alignment lug on the underside. The edges of the dome show a gloss from heavy wear. Possibly a fitting from a horse drawn vehicle or a harness mount.
