Dolsot Bibimbap - Stone Bowl Bibimbap - Kimchi and Bab Aunt Lay Leong wanted to treat Aunt Lee Leng to a dinner before she left Melbourne, and I did the organising. The suggestion was to have Korean, so I dug Kimchi and Bab up from the <a href="http://miettas.com/Australia/Victoria/Caulfield_East/Kimchi_And_Bab.html">The Age Cheap Eats 2007</a> and the <a href="http://www.theage.com.au/news/restaurant-reviews/kimchi-and-bab/2006/04/24/1145861275816.html">The Age</a> reviews. I don't know why I didn't bother to check if they are used to large crowds! When we got there, we were shown to 2 separate tables. It's a good thing the waitress was helpful. She was probably the owner's daughter, so it was in her interests. Then we find out that they only serve bottled drinks and tap water, no Korean barley or corn tea. As with all "homestyle" cooking, the service was a bit slow, but I guess it was worth the wait.
