Dolphin brooch roman
Description
English: A fragment of Roman copper-alloy bow brooch. One wing,  the spring mechanism and upper bow remain. The lower bow, catch plate and pin are missing. The remaining cylindrical wing is decorated with single incised, vertical groove at the end end. The spring pin remains and consists of four coils, this terminates at an old break where the pin would have projected. The remnant of the bow is  D-shaped in cross section and tapers to the break. It is decorated with eight converging longitudinal ribs. 

Length: 18.97 mm,
Width: 20.41 mm,
Weight: 6.03 g.
