Description
English: An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman dolphin Brooch. The long concave wings conceal a copper-alloy spring mechanism. However, the corroded wings have enclosed most of the spring. The humped plain bow is broken midway down. The foot and catchplate are missing. The brooch is quite corroded with patches of brown patina. The surviving length is 21.1mm, the width is 28.5mm and the weight is 4.30g,
