Français : Le Dolmen de Plant de Rives est une sépulture mégalithique collective du néolithique et de l'âge du bronze qui fût découvert en 1876 lors de fouilles à Auvernier, puis déménagé à plusieurs reprises avant d'être installé dans le parc du Laténium, musée cantonal d'archéologie de Neuchâtel. Il contenait une vingtaine de corps et à connu une longe période d'utilisation. Il est formé de dalles en granite, schiste et gneiss.
Deutsch: Der Dolmen des Plant de Rives ist eine kollektive Megalithbestattung aus dem Neolithikum und der Bronzezeit, der 1876 bei einer Ausgrabung in Auvernier entdeckt wurde und danach an verschiedenen Orten wieder aufgebaut wurde, bevor er im Park des Laténiums, kantonales Museum für Archäologie im Kanton Neuchâtel, ausgestellt wurde. Er enthielt 20 Bestattungen und wurde über einen langen Zeitraum benutzt. Er besteht aus Granit-, Gneiss- und Schieferplatten.
English: The dolmen of Plant de Rives is a collective megalithic grave from the neolithic and the bronze age. It was discovered in 1876 during excavations in Auvernier and was moved several times before it was exposed in the parc of the Laténium, cantonal museum of archaeology in the canton of Neuchâtel. It contained 20 bodies and was used over a long period of time. It is made of slabs of granite, gneiss and schist. |
