English: Dollis Brook in Totteridge and Whetstone. Dollis Brook has a confluence with Mutton Brook to form the River Brent. Here it is seen flowing downstream, with Whetstone to the left and Totteridge to the right. The use of wooden posts and boarding to protect and stabilize the banks is typical of many urban watercourses. See 961311 for an illustration of the point. |
