Summary
[edit]DescriptionDoline in Cringlebarrow Wood - geograph.org.uk - 820576.jpg |
English: Doline in Cringlebarrow Wood An area of very boggy ground in a doline or enclosed hollow perhaps formed by a localised collapse of the limestone geology. Pools of water and a series of ledges around the perimeter suggest possible palaeo-lake levels. Accessed with the permission of the land owner during a field trip led by Dr Annie Worsley from Edge Hill University. |
