Čeština: Mariánský morový sloup z roku 1684 na prvním nádvoří doksanského kláštera premonstrátek (okres Litoměřice). Pohled na základnu sloupu z jižní strany, vlevo socha sv. Norberta, zakladatele premonstrátského řádu, vpravo socha sv. Šebestiána, patrona proti moru. Horní latinský nápis v pravoúhlém poli mezi postavami, prosba k Panně Marii o ochranu před různými pohromami, obsahuje coby chronogram dvakrát letopočet 1684, tj. rok stavby sloupu. Menší nápis v kartuši dole představuje záznam o obnově díla proboštem Josefem Winkelburgem v polovině 18. století (chronogram obsahuje letopočet 1748 (pokud počítáme W za V) či 1753 (jestliže W bereme jako V+V).
English: Marian plague column in first courtyard of female Premonstratensian convent in Doksany, Litoměřice District, Czech Republic. A view of its base from the south, in the left statue of St Norbert (founder of Premonstratensian Order), in the right statue of St Seastian (helper against the plague). The Latin inscription in the rectangular field between both sculptures, a plea to Virgin Mary for protection against various disasters, twice contains encrypted year 1684, ie the date of erection of the column. The smaller cartouche in the bottom is a mention on restoration of the column in middle of 18th century ordered by provost Joseph Winkelburg (the encypted date is 1748 or 1753 depending on wehether W is treated as V or V+V). |
