Description
English: "A delegation of dogs thanks Mr. Vojtěch Náprstek for protecting their liberties." - a cartoon satirizing his effort to repeal a law that required all dog owners in Prague to keep their dogs on a leash (more about it in Národní listy of 31 May 1881 (in Czech)).
Čeština: "Panu Vojtovi Náprstkovi odevzdala prý v těchto dnech zvláštní deputace pražských čtyřnohých darmošlapův za statečné hájení jejich volnosti adresu díků." - karikatura zesměšňující Náprstkovu snahu zrušit zákon, který nařizoval držet v Praze psy na vodítku (viz např. Národní listy z 31.5.1881)
