English: Maj. Marcus Neuffer, 455th Expeditionary Medical Group ophthalmologist, administers an eye exam to an Afghan patient in the Korean hospital on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, July 10. Neuffer and his technician, Airman 1st Class Chellbie Gonzales, volunteer their services once a week at the Korean hospital, one of two hospitals that treat walk-in, local-national patients. Neuffer is currently the only ophthalmologist on Bagram qualified to operate on eyes. If a local patient comes in to one of the humanitarian hospitals and is need of an eye surgery, they are referred to the Craig Joint Theater Hospital. Both Maj. Neuffer and Airman 1st Class Gonzales are deployed from Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt. Stephenie Wade)
