English: Dobcross New Road. A motorcycle outrider shows his balancing skills and stops the traffic as the Yanks Convoy turns left on to Dobcross New Road during the annual 'Wartime Weekend Event' in Saddleworth
The event takes place on the second weekend of August every year http://www.saddleworthwartimeweekend.com/. Over the weekend there are various events throughout the area. On the Sunday one of the biggest convoys of wartime vehicles makes its away around Saddleworth passing through the villages of Uppermill, Delph, Standedge, Diggle, Dobcross and back to Uppermill.
