Summary

[edit]
Description The sculpture, by renowned Saskatchewan artist Joe Fafard celebrates the Canadian horse, the role it played in the history of Canada and how it ties all Canadians together. The powder-coated 5/8-inch cut-steel plate horses are in different poses representing movement: past, present, future in a symphony of colours. An identical sculpture can be found on the Promenade Samuel de Champlain along the banks of the St. Lawrence River in Calgary's first sister city, Quebec City.
