Description
English: The Melik Paşa Mosque lies to the north of the Melik Paşa Caddesi, not far from the Urfa Gate. It dates back to 1591. The mihrab has wonderful faience and elsewhere in the mosque some more good quality Iznik tiles can be spotted. The minaret has a square base and is ornamented with mosaics with arabesques. Inside the minaret two separate staircases have been constructed.
