Deutsch: Vorderseite: DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER. Kopf des Divus Augustus mit Strahlenkrone nach l.

Rückseite: PROVIDENT. Altar samt Einfassung mit geschlossenen Türflügeln. Beiderseits S - C.

Kommentar: Der auf der Rückseite abgebildete Altar wurde vor Oktober 19 n. Chr. von Tiberius gestiftet, um der Voraussicht des Augustus zu gedenken. Augustus hatte um den 26. Juni 4 n. Chr. seinen Stiefsohn Tiberius adoptiert und damit zu seinem Nachfolger gemacht. Das Datum der Adoption aber war dann auch ein Tag, an dem Feierlichkeiten zu Ehren der Providentia des Augustus stattfanden.
