Deutsch: Vorderseite: DIVVS AVGVSTVS. Kopf des Divus Augustus mit Strahlenkrone nach l. Beiderseits S - C.
Rückseite: CONSENSV SENAT ET EQ ORDIN P Q R. Der Kaiser (Augustus oder eher Caligula) sitzt in der Toga nach l. auf einem Stuhl (sella curulis). Er hält einen Lorbeerzweig in der r. Hand und einen Globus in der l. Hand. Kommentar: Die sitzende Figur auf der Rückseite, welche Lorbeerzweig und Globus in den Händen hält, wird in der Literatur zumeist als Augustus identifiziert. Von Kaenel hat dagegen 1978 u.a. anhand von Porträtvergleichen die These formuliert, Kaiser Caligula werde hier abgebildet. Für eine Darstellung des Caligula spreche auch die Rückseitenlegende CONSENSV SENAT(us) ET EQ(uestris) ORDIN(is) P(opuli) Q(ue) R(omani), die besagt, dass Senat, Ritterstand und das römische Volk mit ihrer Akklamation Zustimmung zur Nachfolge erteilen, wie es auch durch antike Schriftquellen überliefert wird (Cassius Dio 59,6; Sueton, Caligula 14).
