| Description |
English: Ditch and pillbox west of Frilford, Oxfordshire (formerly Berkshire). The ditch was dug in the Second World War as an anti-tank defence, and has been restored by the landowner and a local history society. The landowner allowed the photographer to photograph the site and states that there were originally earthworks on both sides of the ditch. The flowers in the foreground are cowslips, Primula veris. |
