Summary
[edit]DescriptionDisused slate quarry - geograph.org.uk - 1359537.jpg |
English: Disused slate quarry. A determined attempt has been made at least to sample thoroughly the slates formed in mudstone horizons in sandstones of the Cwm Eigiau Formation. This overgrown adit and some spoil are all that remains of an unsuccessful attempt. It is a very similar material to that exploited at the Tal y Fan Quarry 1330558on the other side of the mountain. |
