| Description |
English: Disused railway line near Greatmoor 2 This disused single track railway line was once a branch of the Great Central Railway, which when it opened in 1899 was the last main line twin track railway to be built. This branch ran to the London terminus at Marylebone via High Wycombe. In this view to the south, the line continues for about 3.5km as far as the A41 and the site of the former Akeman Street station, beyond which the line was dismantled in the late 1960s.
