Summary
[edit]DescriptionDisused chapel in Main Street - geograph.org.uk - 527966.jpg |
English: Disused chapel in Main Street This was Bethesda Baptist chapel, the English offshoot from Goedwig over the road. Founded as a Reading Room in the early part of 1908, it prospered so exceedingly that in a few months it was in a position to buy a site in Main Street, and a corrugated iron chapel was erected early in the following year.
This metal cladding was a cheap building option and quite a feature of the Pembrokeshire area; there are several other examples in Goodwick. |
