English: Distress signal on Lough Derg Off Brookfield Point we encountered this boat flying a distress flag. We were assured that help was on its way and that our assistance was not required.
The red saltire cross on white is the international maritime distress flag. As far as I am aware it is a coincidence that this is also the St. Patrick's cross! |
