Chromolithograph illustrating liver disease in dissected specimens caused by hepatitis (top left), congenital syphilis (top right), angioma cavernosum hepatitis (bottom left), pylephlebitis intrahepatica abscendens multiplex (bottom right). The plates were painted from hospital cases immediately after death.
