Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Disamantled railway to Guilford Colliery The line of trees marks the route of the railway that was built in November 1912 to connect Guilford Colliery with the East Kent Light Railway at Eythorne. The picture was taken from the lane that links Shepherdswell with Church Road, Coldred. There is no trace of the railway to the north east on the ground. However, the line of the route may be seen in aerial pictures.
