English: Colour woodblock diptych print, oban tate-e. The kabuki actor Bando Shuka as O-kaji, wife of Danshichi (left), leaning over a fallen man and pointing a sword at a bloodied Seki Sanjuro as the old hag, wife of Giheiji of Mikawa-cho (right), amidst heavy rain, from the play 'Shinzo Tsurifune kidan', performed at the Ichimura theatre in the fifth month of Kaei 5 (1852).
