Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Image shows the variety of different expressions of dipping layers. Dipping layers are the remains of what once covered wide areas. It fell from the sky--mostly as ice covered dust. The layers are there since material fell at different times. The colored ones are from a colored strip in the center of each HiRISE image. All images were from the HiWish program that Jim Secosky used. The program HiView was used to modify most images.
